The "Barolo Mirror" Legend
In the heart of the Langhe, old winemakers say that the best Nebbiolo grapes are those that can ‘see the mountains.’ It’s called the Mirror Effect: on clear days, the snow-capped Alps reflect the sun’s rays back onto the hills, acting like a natural mirror.
This extra dose of light is the secret behind the power and elegance of Barolo, the “King of Wines”.
As we ride along the ridges, look toward the horizon: if you can see the Monviso, you’re looking at the birthplace of a legendary vintage.

TIPPING: In Italy, tipping is a sign of appreciation for great service. If you’ve had an epic time, a tip for your guides and local staff is always a nice gesture!
