FROM THE DEEP WOODS TO THE INFINITE BLUE

finale ligure ⟶ alassio

The essence of Ligurian riding: from ancient woods to the deep blue sea. We start from Colle del Melogno, entering the ancient Barbottina Forest on natural singletracks and technical descents through roots and rocks.

Along the way, we pass through the medieval village of Castelvecchio di Rocca Barbena, before a shuttle transfer takes us to the hills above Alassio.

The day ends with a spectacular descent towards the coast, arriving directly at the beach for a well-earned beer at sunset.

CROSSING BORDERS: A WILD RIDE INTO FRANCE

dolceacqua ⟶ LA BRIGUE

Starting from the hinterland of the Western Ligurian Riviera, we ride through remote valleys and constantly changing landscapes before crossing the border into France.

Natural trails, exposed sections and steep, technical terrain make this the most demanding day of the tour—a complete enduro experience surrounded by the wild scenery of the Maritime Alps.

The day ends in La Brigue, a historic mountain village in the Roya Valley, where we spend the night.

FRENCH ENDURO LEGENDS: FROM MOUNTAINS TO THE RIVIERA

saorge ⟶ NICE

In the hills behind Nice, we explore some of the most iconic trails of the French enduro scene, known for their technical terrain and distinctive Mediterranean character.

Rocky singletracks, steep sections and fast, flowing descents make this a challenging but rewarding final day of riding.

The journey ends on the beach in Nice, where the mountains finally meet the Mediterranean—a fitting end to three days across the wild borderlands of Italy and France.

THE TIBETAN VILLAGE OF THE ALPS

Looking at this photo, you might think we’ve flown to the Himalayas, but this is Saorge.

It’s known as the ‘Tibetan Village’ of France because it’s built entirely on a sheer rock face.

For centuries, it was a strategic fortress on the Salt Way, and today it remains a place of silence: it’s one of the few villages in Europe where cars are completely banned. Exploring its narrow stone alleys with our bikes feels like traveling back in time.
