YOUR GEAR & outfit GUIDE
If you’re on this page, it’s because you’re ready to ride!
Preparation is the heartbeat of your adventure.
We’ve built this guide to make sure your bike and your gear can keep up with you.
Don’t just pack—prepare. Let’s get you ready for the wild!
TIRES: Must be Tubeless with Reinforced Casings (e.g., Maxxis DoubleDown / Schwalbe SuperGravity).
SUSPENSION: Minimum 150mm travel recommended. Ensure your setup is fully serviced before arrival.
BRAKES: Check your pads! Minimum 180mm rotors required (200mm for E-MTBs) to handle long, technical descents.
THE HANGER: You must bring a spare derailleur hanger (forcellino) specific to your frame. We cannot source these locally.
- YOUR KIT: Carry a multi-tool, a chain-specific quick link, and a bottle of chain lube.
REPAIRS: Bring two inner tubes or a bottle of tubeless fluid for on-trail emergencies.
E-BIKE ONLY: Remember your spare battery (if required for the tour) and your charge
➜ The following items are essential for ensuring that we can deal with all mechanical issues on the tour. Without these, our guides may not be able to fix your bike on the trail.
THE BIKE SET UP
MANDATORY PROTECTION: Enduro or lightweight full-face helmet and Knee pads. Elbow pads are strongly advised.
CLOTHING: Use moisture-wicking jerseys (short and long-sleeved) and padded liners. Both MTB baggy shorts and long riding pants are mandatory to handle temperature shifts and overgrown trails.
Full-finger gloves are required for every ride.
WEATHER LAYERS: Always pack a waterproof jacket and a windbreaker. Bring a light, long-sleeved fleece layer for temperature drops.
SHOES & SOCKS: Specific MTB shoes (flats or SPDs) and biking-specific socks.
EYEWEAR: Biking glasses or goggles are essential for sun, dust, and branches.
SUN & BUGS: Don’t forget Sunscreen (SPF 30+) and insect repellent.
➜ Proper clothing and protection are non-negotiable for your safety and comfort on the trail

PERSONAL ID: You must carry a physical ID card or Passport (or a high-quality waterproof scan) on every ride.
INSURANCE DETAILS: Carry your travel insurance policy number and their emergency contact details at all times.
EMERGENCY CONTACT (ICE): Ensure you have an “In Case of Emergency” contact number easily accessible in your pack or on your phone’s lock screen.
