Emtb Sky to Sea Tour from limone to menton is A two-day EMTB adventure leads you along the border between Italy and France, riding through karst peaks and the iconic rock-carved trails of Monte Toraggio. It is a journey of deep contrasts: starting from the silence of the high mountains, it culminates in an endless descent that takes you all the way to the vibrant blue of the Mediterranean coast.
In addition to the incredible scenery, “it almost feels like flying” — this is the common reaction that our guests tell us every time we ride this tour. In fact, it seems like we are suspended between sky and earth as we descend these endless trails.
Because of this unique terrain, here you will truly experience the intrinsic relationship between mountain biking and gravity. You will receive the most this area has to offer — for a palpable feeling of freedom.

The Emtb Sky to Sea Tour is a high-altitude EMTB adventure that bridges the rugged Italian Alps and the French Mediterranean coast. We will lead you from the historic Colle di Tenda along ancient border ridges. You will experience the thrill of riding from 2000-meter karst peaks down to the vibrant shores of Menton.
This two-day EMTB experience connects legendary mountain passes with coastal technical trails. You will ride through the iconic rock-carved passages of Monte Toraggio and the wild Roya Valley. As a result, you can enjoy one of the longest and most scenic alpine descents in the region, plunging directly toward the sea.

Is this tour for you? If you want to experience the ultimate transition—from high-altitude alpine ridges to sun-drenched sea-view descents—and you’re ready to conquer 5,000 m of gravity-defying fun assisted by our professional uplift, you’re in the right place.
Bike Type: Enduro bike (150mm+) or E-MTB.
Vibe: A true Enduro journey from the peaks to the sea.
The Riding: A blend of natural trails, rocky steps, and fast flow.
The Support: We use our shuttle to maximize gravity time, but be ready for some scenic pedaling to reach the best spots.
TRAVEL & LOGISTICS

Meeting Point: Colle di Tenda at 09:00 AM.
Getting Here: The closest international airports are Nice (NCE) and Turin (TRN).
Daily Schedule: Expect 6-7 hours out on the trails.
- We’ll take a relaxed break at a characteristic high-altitude mountain hut (rifugio) to recharge with local flavors before the next descent.
Guided Tours: All our tours are fully guided experiences.
Technical Shuttle Support: Transportation is provided exclusively for the logistics of the bike tour.
Service Scope: Shuttle transfers are functional and strictly limited to the execution of the tour itinerary.

Accommodation: Price includes stay in a double/twin room.
Single Room Supplement: Available upon request for an additional fee.

What’s Included: Professional MTB Guide, full-day private shuttle support, and mechanical assistance for minor trail repairs.
What’s Excluded: Travel insurance (mandatory), bike & gear rental, lunch, and after-ride drinks.
Booking: A 30% deposit is required to secure your spot.
TRAVEL TIPS
LOGISTICS
GETTING HERE: The main hubs are Nice (NCE) and Turin (TRN). Milan (MXP) is an option but requires a longer transfer.The tour starts at Colle di Tenda and concludes in Menton, so please plan your travel accordingly. We recommend using the train or our dedicated transfers to reach the starting point and for your return journey from the coast.
ACCOMMODATION: We hand-pick charming, local accommodations Prices are based on twin-share rooms. If you prefer a single room, please request it in advance (a supplement fee applies).
FOOD & DIETARY: We love local flavors! If you have allergies or intolerances, please let us know at the time of booking so we can coordinate with the trattorias.
ON-TOUR CARE
HEALTH PRIORITIES: Your health and safety on tour is our top priority.
LOCAL ADVICE: You should always consult your own doctor or physician before travelling to new countries to seek their advice on health matters abroad.
VACCINATIONS & WATER: No vaccinations are required for visiting our tour areas. While tap water is generally safe, we recommend bottled or filtered water, which will be readily available throughout the trip.
MEDICAL CONDITIONS: Please let us know if you have any special food requirements, allergies, or pre-existing conditions your guides should know about.
TRAVEL INSURANCE (Mandatory): As a condition of booking, you must be insured against medical and personal accident risks. Your policy must explicitly cover mountain biking. We also strongly recommend coverage for trip cancellation and baggage (including your bike).
FINANCIAL TIPS
CURRENCY & CASH: The local currency is Euro (€). While cards are accepted in cities, cash is essential for remote mountain huts and small bars.
ATM MACHINES: You can find ATMs in Finale Ligure, Dolceacqua, and Nice. We suggest withdrawing cash before heading into the smaller villages.
TIPPING: In Italy, tipping is a sign of appreciation for great service. If you’ve had an epic time, a tip for your guides and local staff is always a nice gesture!
